Introduction

About Mantri Group

The foundation of the “Mantri Group” was laid down in the year 1943. The group was founded by two brothers, Mr. Manaklal Mantri and Mr. Shankarlal Mantri with a small business of trading in Kirana items. Family’s second generation namely Mr. Ramesh Mantri and Mr. Govind Mantri joined the family business and were successful in nurturing the seed laid down by their fathers. The retail kirana business turned into a Semi Wholesale and further into the Wholesale business.

In the year 1982 the group started its first manufacturing unit of 200MT of BESAN per month under the name of “Paramount Pulses Products” which was later converted into a private limited company. The success of the paramount pulses encouraged the group to lay its foots into other industries and the group saw its first diversification through “Polyfilm Industries” engaged in the manufacturing of HSM bags in the year 1983. The group was pioneer in manufacturing of Kirana HM bags in India which created a strong brand name and helped the group to enter into other plastic products as well.

The group started “Nagpur Polyfilms Pvt. Ltd.” in the year 1991 manufacturing “Plastic Injections”.With the establishment of Paramount Pulses Pvt Ltd, the group expanded its operations and installed a 500TPM atta plant. The group then set up two other firms namely “Kailash Poly Industries” and “Sonegaon Wrappers” in the year 1998 which started printing plastic bags. The group encashed the boom of the IT Industry and further diversified in the year 2000 with “Nagpur Soft Embedded Technology Pvt. Ltd. “ providing backend services to the IT giants both in India and abroad.
Throughout these years Paramount Pulses kept gaining a higher market share and focussed on streamlining its operations and in the year 2002 “Ginni Food Industries“was started as a proprietor concern which was converted into private limited company in 2004 and came to be known as Ginni Agro Products Pvt. Ltd.

Recently the group has started solar installation, solar equipment (panel) trading and other solar related activity. The group has also entered into the construction activities as contractor through Ace technologies & infrastructure Pvt. Ltd. The Group has also entered into plastic waste management under the name of Central India EPR Corporation which provides services of collection, handling and transportation of municipal solid waste using cutting edge technology.

The Mantri Group being engaged in a number of businesses in various fields of agro-processing, plastic, plastic waste management, IT, software development, solar, etc has developed a name for itself.

Under the leadership of Mr Govind Mantri & Mr Manoj Mantri, Ginni Agro Products Private Limited is now a well-known name in the market and is trusted by all consumers. It all started with a small besan plant and now the company is engaged in is engaged in manufacturing of Whole Wheat Flour, Gram Flour, Gram Dal , Roasted & Semolina and other range of products.

It is a state-of-the-art, technology driven, food-processing company setting new benchmarks of innovation in the field of flour processing where start to end processes are through machinery. The company carefully manages its value chain to ensure that all the activities undertaken in the chain play a role to enhance the value of the final product. It procures wheat and chana from farmers, traders and ensures that the produce is graded/sorted, processed, handled and packaged in hygienic and efficient manner for delivery to its local, national as well as international clients. The company has a registration with NCDEX & Agribazaar for online auctions, sale and purchase of Agri Products.

Ginni Agro is the brain child of Mr Govind & Mr Manoj Mantri and these two experienced entrepreneurs have put in their time & effort to provide an edge to the company in areas of vendor development, handling and processing of gram and wheat, quality control and customer relationship.

It uses modern technology of production based on full automation and follows GMP and is ISO 22000:2005 certified.
